Business Associate Agreement

We do not publish a fake “filed” BAA. For covered entities that need HIPAA Business Associate terms for PDF OCR, we countersign after paid plan + private VL hosting are confirmed.

Request

How to start

  1. Read the PHI Guarantee (controls + what is still not HIPAA).
  2. Upgrade on Billing (Starter or Pro).
  3. Confirm your OCR worker is a private HTTPS endpoint (not loca.lt / TryCloudflare).
  4. Email baa@bettercall.help with: organization legal name, covered-entity contact, Appwrite/key prefix, and worker host (no patient data).

Until countersigned, treat the free / tunnel OCR path as non-PHI only. Synthetic fixtures (Hawkins / hello) are fine for smoke tests — never real patient charts.
